This was my attempt at branding a soon to be craft brewery in Floyd, Virginia. Floyd is home to world-famous live music, artists and craftsmen, wineries, friendly people, and is a popular stop along the Virginia Heritage Music Trail called “The Crooked Road.” The folks at Ober Brewery have worked long and hard creating their quirky brand and asked my packaging class to design a labeling system. I decided to embrace the homegrown, music and art inspired feel of Floyd in my packaging with entirely hand done graphics and type.

I was given a class assignment to design a kit for specific audience. Given that I am an animal lover, especially those adorable sea creatures, I chose to design a children’s First Pet Kit. I designed an interactive kit that includes all the needed items for a first pet fish while guiding them through the steps of how to take care of their fish, allows them to journal about their experience, keep track of feeding, etc. All of the illustrations and typography is hand done by me :) Included in the kit is a fill-in-the-blank journal, fish tank, fish food, water cleaner, a fish net, two customized sticker sets, and tank accessories.

Re-design of the Wave Riding Vehicles website. Focused on adding a consistent grid and navigation system for usability while maintaining a laid back, hand done design to match the culture of the surf company. Excuse the pixels; the images were taken from the current website.
